Job Description
Overview Edmonds Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, privately owned small-animal general practice dedicated to compassionate, personalized care for our patients and clients. We are seeking a full-time veterinary assistant who is looking for a long-term position with a supportive, close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, values teamwork, and takes pride in their contribution to the workplace. Responsibilities include Assist with animal restraint during examinations and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff. Assist doctors during appointments, including collecting patient history, assisting with treatments, preparing invoices, entering SOAP notes, and communicating with clients regarding treatment plans and recommendations. Assist with diagnostics, including radiographs and laboratory sample collection and preparation. Monitor patients during anesthetic procedures and recovery. Assist with front desk duties as needed, including client communication, appointment scheduling, and maintaining patient records. Clean and maintain treatment areas and hospital spaces. Support client communication and education. Work collaboratively with the entire hospital team.
