PetVet Care Centers' Cat Clinic of Seattle is currently seeking Veterinary Assistant (Rotating Shift) to join their team! Position Overview Join our team as a Veterinary Assistant who supports the veterinarians and technicians in their daily tasks by cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding, exercising and grooming patients, preparing and sanitizing surgery suites, restraining and handling patients, and clerical and administrative work. They deliver quality care for all patients and provide exceptional service. Why Join Us:
We are a feline only veterinary hospital located in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. Our staff is very experienced and has been together for many years. The Doctors work collaboratively with the staff to treat our patients. Duties include handling and restraining cats, giving oral and injectable medications, and assisting doctors and technicians with treatments and post-surgical recovery. Patient care and monitoring Cleaning and stocking the clinic Assisting with client service and basic administrative tasks General hospital upkeер Qualifications Experience with feline restraint and administering oral medications (training provided for the right candidate) Comfortable working with cats Dependable and team-oriented Able to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and organizational skills Schedule Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM-5:30 PM. The schedule is consistent, with shifts remaining the same each week. Candidates are preferred for both days, but one-day availability may also be considered.
