Job Description

South Sound Veterinary Imaging is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Veterinary Assistant / Client Services Specialist to join our growing team. Based in University Place, Washington, this role supports all facets of our radiology and cardiology practice, including mobile services, outpatient imaging, and telespecialty care. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Radiologists and Cardiologists in a dynamic setting that blends hands-on patient care, client service, and operational support. This is a part-time position (approximately 20-25 hours/week) with potential for benefits.
Estimated Schedule Tuesday-Wednesday:
~9:00 AM-5:00
PM Thursday:
~10:00 AM-4:00 PM About the Role The Veterinary Assistant / Client Services Specialist will support: Mobile radiology and mobile cardiology services at referring veterinary clinics Outpatient ultrasound and cardiology appointments at our University Place Outpatient Imaging Center Telespecialty caseload This individual will play an integral role across all service lines, helping ensure smooth case flow, excellent client communication, and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinary specialists during mobile and outpatient imaging appointments Provide safe and appropriate patient restraint Drive specialists to mobile clinic locations Schedule appointments and coordinate with referring clinics and pet owners Maintain accurate medical records and databases Ensure imaging studies, reports, and case details are properly handled and organized Support professional, timely, and compassionate client communication Qualifications Previous veterinary assistant and/or client services experience required Veterinary specialty or referral practice experience preferred Proficiency or ability to learn veterinary software and medical record systems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on feet for long periods of time Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Clean driving record required Compensation & Benefits $23-$26 per hour, depending on experience Part-time benefits package including 50% employer-paid medical and dental insurance premium 100% paid employer vision Paid time off Sick Leave Employee pet discounts for veterinary care Opportunity to work closely with incredible team including Radiologists and Cardiologist Collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented work environment South Sound Veterinary Imaging is a specialty cardiology and radiology group providing mobile, outpatient, and telespecialty services.
