Location:
Pleasant Prairie, WI (less than 20 minutes from Lake Michigan and the beautiful Kenosha lakefront) We are a well-established, full-service veterinary clinic with a loyal client base that values and respects our commitment to their pets' health. We maintain a busy but manageable pace that supports a healthy work-life balance for our team.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Safely restrain animals for exams and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and surgical areas
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Monitor and report changes in animal behavior or condition
- Clean and sterilize instruments, kennels, and equipment
- Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed
- Educate pet owners on general animal care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, invoicing, and answering phones
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Ability to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (experience with veterinary software a plus)
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Work Schedule:
