Veterinary Assistant

EverVet Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond through exceptional pet health care. We are a new, fun, and fast-paced clinic that provides high-quality veterinary care to small animals. Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing care to animals Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Perform basic laboratory tests, such as bloodwork and urinalysis Clean and maintain examination rooms, kennels, and surgical areas Provide assistance with pet grooming and dog training

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred Knowledge of animal behavior, handling, and restraint techniques Familiarity with common veterinary procedures and medications Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written At our veterinary clinic, we are committed to providing high-quality care for pets.
