In addition to being AAHA accredited, we provide a wide range of services including specialty services such as acupuncture and TPLO's. Some of the responsibilities of an Assistant are: Daily maintenance of exam rooms including cleaning, stocking and organizing Cleaning and maintenance of working areas including tables, counters and other work areas Assisting Veterinary Assistants and Certified Technicians with check sheet duties Helping restrain pets when needed Ensure patients have their food, water and walks as needed or directed by a Veterinary Assistant, Certified Technician or Doctor Under the guidance of Veterinary Assistants and Certified Technicians, keep an eye/ear out for nail trims and suture removals Proactively find tasks that can assist their fellow Team Members Other responsibilities as assigned It is important that all Assistant's must embody and maintain the following qualities at all times: Dynamic personality with a positive attitude Self-motivated and interested in continually improving skills and knowledge Able to work both independently (self-starter) and as a team player Follows direction but also able to think outside of the box and propose new ideas Flexible and excited about change and growth in pursuit of a Higher Level of Care Detail-oriented, focused and diligent We care about the wellbeing of our employees, and have put together some great benefits, including:Financial Benefits:
