  • Part-time, Full-time The purpose of a veterinary technician is to support veterinarians with performing patient care and assist them in maintaining a positive and healthy lifestyle for our patients.
Veterinary technicians should already know how to draw blood, place IV catheter, properly restrain cats and dogs, and administer medications/vaccinations. Responsibilities (but not limited to): Draw Blood Place IV Catheter Know How to Properly Retrain Cats and Dogs Perform In-House and Out-of-Office Lab Tests (CBC, cytology, blood chemistry, urinalysis, biopsy) Provide Post-Op Care Perform Canine and Feline Dental Cleaning/Extraction Vaccinations and Parasite/Heartworm Preventions Monitor Anesthesia Sterilizing Surgical and Other Lab Equipment Take and Develop Radiographs and X-Rays Applicants are required to be available to work at both of our clinics.
