We currently have 5 CVTs and many long-term team members that have been with us for 15+ years. The candidate must be proficient in providing support to our team of veterinarians, as well as delivering great service to our clients. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Conduct routine animal restraint techniques for safe handling. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia monitoring. Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines. Perform dental cleanings. Qualifications Experience with dog handling and general animal restraint techniques is required. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment is preferred. Previous experience in a kennel or veterinary setting is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology is preferred but not mandatory.
