Help pets receive the surgical care they need at prices owners can afford Enjoy a predictable schedule with no weekends Work a 4-day work week Be part of a small, dedicated team making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families Grow professionally with ongoing continuing education opportunities What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess: Previous Veterinary Hospital experience ( required ) Strong surgical and anesthesia experience Excellent attention to detail A passion for animal welfare and patient advocacy Integrity, professionalism, and accountability Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus but not required Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Surgical patient intake and discharge Obtaining and recording accurate patient vitals Blood collection and laboratory sample handling Intravenous catheter placement Drawing, logging, and administering controlled substances Patient intubation Anesthesia monitoring and support Accurate medical record documentation Post-operative patient care Cleaning, maintenance, and sterilization of surgical instruments Supporting veterinarians and fellow team members to ensure exceptional patient care Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods of time Ability to safely restrain animals What We Offer 35-40 hours per week 4-day work week No weekends Competitive benefits package including: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Discounts Additional employee benefits Continuing education and professional development opportunities A positive workplace culture focused on compassion, teamwork, and quality patient care About us: Since opening in 2016, Dr. Kelly's has grown from 1 location, to 7, covering the Phoenix, Tucson, and now Flagstaff area, with more on the way! We offer affordable, compassionate and convenient surgical solutions to pets and their parents. The North Valley hospital has 2 Doctors working in close proximity with 9 nurses. We are a fast-paced facility performing 15-20 surgeries per day including but not limited to S/N's, dentals, mass removals, cystotomy, amputations, cherry eye, etc. You will need to be able to move quickly and stay focused.
