Job Description
Position available for experienced Veterinary Technician. Qualified applicants must have at least one year of small animal clinical experience, and have familiarity with monitoring anesthesia including the use of EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. Knowledge of ETCO2 will be helpful. Other required skills include catheter placement, venipuncture, radiography, ability to restrain, familiarity with common medications and instruments, basic triage skills, and the ability to process and submit laboratory specimens. Experience with dental cleaning and dental radiography is helpful but not mandatory. This is a busy, established practice. We are fortunate to have very motivated clients who really care about their pets. We strive for quality medicine and surgery, good communication with clients and between staff members, and a positive work environment. We are looking for team members who share our commitment to patient care. This position can be full or part time. We generally work ten our shifts, and applicants should be available for occasional Saturdays.
