We are looking to add one full-time highly motivated Veterinary Technician to share in an exciting, fun environment with a focus on preventative medicine and surgery. Previous veterinary technician experience is needed . Competitive pay depending on experience and abilities. Applicants must be client orientated and have high customer service skills: Assistance for veterinarian in exams, Cytology, Anesthetic monitoring, Animal restraint, In house lab work processing, Caring for hospitalized patients, IV catheter placement, Dental treatments, Surgery and procedures, Medication preparation and administration, Euthanasia, and Excellent communication skill and Customer Service. Responsibilities and Duties Proficiency in basic veterinary care: In house lab work processing, Cytology, Radiology, IV catheter placement, Surgery and Anesthesia monitoring, Dental treatments, Medication preparation and administration, and Euthanasia. Must be comfortable restraining and holding animals Must be able to multi-task and conduct the highest level of professionalism at all times with interactions with both clients and patients, and coworkers. We are seeking a long-term team member who is ready and willing to learn! Qualifications and Skills •Must have at least 1 year in the field working as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant. We offer an excellent working hours : Mondays , Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 am to close (usually 5:00 pm, but sometimes not frequently can be later) with an hour lunch and Saturdays from 8:00 am to close (usually 12:00 pm, but can be later). We are closed Wednesdays, Sundays and all major Holidays. Hourly rate will be dependent on experience, knowledge of the industry, and skill set.
