Our technicians assist with surgery, dentistry, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, dental radiographs, laboratory diagnostics, and ultrasound procedures while working closely with veterinarians to deliver thoughtful, high-quality medicine. Digital radiography Dental radiography Oncura ultrasound for abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms In-house laboratory diagnostics and cytology Paperless medical records Clinical standards are clearly defined across the hospital to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
These include:
Thorough diagnostic evaluations IV catheter placement and fluid therapy for procedures Full dental radiographs Comprehensive pain management protocols All anesthetized patients are supported with IV catheterization, fluid therapy, and continuous monitoring using modern anesthesia monitoring equipment, with technicians playing a central role in anesthesia safety and patient advocacy. Diagnostic imaging and ultrasound studies are reviewed by board-certified specialists to ensure accurate interpretation and support the highest level of patient care. Technicians at Revel Vet are encouraged to practice at the top of their training and are trusted partners in patient care, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and client education. Your Impact as a Veterinary Technician This is a true veterinary nursing role where your technical skill, clinical observations, and communication with clients contribute directly to patient care. Patient Care & Nursing Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments Place IV catheters and administer medications and vaccines Monitor anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures Support hospitalized patients and monitor recovery Diagnostics & Technical Skills Perform venipuncture and collect blood, urine, and fecal samples Run in-house laboratory diagnostics and cytology Obtain diagnostic radiographs and dental radiographs Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as cystocentesis Support advanced diagnostics, including ultrasound imaging Surgical & Dental Support Prepare surgical patients and maintain sterile technique Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals Assist with dental procedures and perform dental radiography Client Education Communicate with pet owners about treatments, medications, and next steps Reinforce veterinary recommendations and answer client questions Support clients through both routine visits and more difficult medical situations A Day in the Life of a Revel Vet Technician Your day may begin by reviewing the schedule with your team and preparing treatment areas for upcoming procedures.
During the day you may:
Assist with wellness exams and client education Place IV catheters and monitor anesthesia for dental procedures Run in-house diagnostics that support medical decision-making Obtain radiographs that guide treatment plans Assist with ultrasound diagnostics Support nervous patients using Fear Free handling techniques You'll work alongside teammates who communicate well, support each other, and share the goal of delivering excellent care.
