We will consider Dental Training for RVT's that are interested in learning!

We are open:

6 days per week Mon-Saturday Days working will be Mon-Friday 7:30a-4:30p with some flexibility as needed Ideal candidates will: Have a minimum of 2 year previous experience in a veterinary hospital. Possess strong anesthesia monitoring experience Have experience with dental extractions and suturing. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have a moderate to advanced understanding of medical terminology. Perform clerical and public contact duties with professionalism including emergency situations. Know proper payment processing procedures. Be able to schedule follow up appointments. Process prescription refill requests. Exercise technical knowledge of OTC and prescription products sold.

Preference given to candidates with:

Over 3 years veterinary experience Proficiency in Dental extractions, suturing and nerve blocks. Familiarity with Cornerstone

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to hazards associated with aggressive patients; hazards associated with infected animals and controlled substances; exposure to unpleasant odors and noises; exposure to bites, scratches and animal wastes; possible exposure to contagious diseases.
