Our RVTs play a key role in delivering excellent patient care and are trusted to work at the top of their license, including: Anesthesia induction, intubation, and surgical monitoring Scrubbing in to assist with procedures Full-mouth digital dental radiographs, charting, scaling, and polishing Single-rooted dental extractions, depending on comfort and training Patient recovery and discharge instructions Client education and follow-up communication Prescription prep and treatment support Progressive Medicine, Cool Equipment We love good medicine, and we believe having the right tools matters.

Our team has access to:

Laparoscopic surgery Integrative medicine and acupuncture Endoscopy, including GI, ear, and nasal scopes Ultrasound and advanced diagnostics Laser therapy and shockwave therapy Rehabilitation equipment, with an underwater treadmill coming soon A Practice That's Growing Arcata Animal Hospital has been serving the community since 1950, and we're continuing to grow. We're currently in the middle of a 1,700-square-foot expansion to support our increasing caseload and expanding services. We offer:
