Registered Veterinary Technician

Five Cities Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice that has been serving the Central Coast for over 19 years. We are currently seeking an experienced registered veterinary technician to join our close-knit team! Responsibilities to include patient care of hospitalized patients, performing dental cleaning, dental x-ray, surgical prep., anesthesia monitoring, checking in appointments, running in-house lab work, digital x-ray, IV catheter placement, blood draw, as well as maintenance of treatment area. Strong technical skills are a must. Required minimum 2 years experience as a veterinary technician and/or registered veterinary technician. Applicant must be able to demonstrate proficiency in technical skills including, but not limited to venipuncture from multiple sites, IV catheter placement, intubation and IV, SQ and IM injections.
