RVT Job Description:
Our veterinary practice is looking for a motivated relief Veterinary Assistant / Technician / RVT who is eager to learn and grow in the veterinary field.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and licensed technicians during exams and procedures Restrain animals safely and humanely Perform laboratory tests, radiology, and anesthesia monitoring Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas Administer medications and treatments as directed Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment Educate clients on post-treatment care and preventive medicine Support patient care and clinic flow
Qualifications:
Previous veterinary or animal handling experience required Ability to work well in a collaborative team Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to lift and handle animals safely
