THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced, licensed RVT to join our team and work alongside our RVT, assistants, and veterinarians (2) to deliver exceptional care for our canine and feline patients. You will play a hands-on role in patient care from intake to discharge, partner directly with clients to support education and decision-making, and take an active role in training and leading our vet assistant team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform and assist with medical, surgical, and dental procedures including anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, and radiography Collect and process laboratory samples Conduct patient assessments, obtain histories, and communicate findings to the doctor Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, home care, and preventive wellness Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked treatment area and support safe medication handling Work with our current RVT to lead and mentor a team of vet assistants
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Active California RVT license (required) Experience in small animal practice Strong communication skills and genuine passion for client education Comfortable working in a high-touch, relationship-focused practice Someone who wants to keep learning and growing
