This vital role involves providing high-quality care to animals, supporting veterinarians, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in veterinary procedures and laboratory work, with a passion for animal health and welfare. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment committed to excellence in veterinary medicine. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments with precision and care Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian Monitor anaesthesia and recovery processes during surgical procedures Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other laboratory procedures Maintain detailed medical records of all patients' treatments and progress Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and post-treatment care Ensure cleanliness and sterilisation of surgical instruments and treatment areas Support kennel management including feeding, cleaning, and general animal care Qualifications recognised qualification as a Registered Veterinary Technician or equivalent Proven veterinary experience with a solid understanding of clinical procedures Laboratory experience is highly desirable to support diagnostic testing tasks Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and patient care Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with clients and team members Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Who thrives here This role is perfect for someone who: Loves animals and wants to grow in the veterinary field Enjoys a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment Wants to be part of a new clinic from the ground up Values teamwork, kindness, and high‑quality care
