Role:

North Orange Veterinary Clinic is a growing and privately owned veterinary hospital in Fallbrook California. We are looking to add additional people to our growing team. We are looking for a licensed technician with some experience. We are looking for both full and part time. We have medical benefits, Continuing education funds and competing wages. We are seeking a self-starter who is flexible, reliable, and dependable. We are currently open Monday - Friday with no weekends, Holidays or overnights needed. Job duties may include medication administration, anesthesia administration and monitoring, post-surgical care, using the in-house laboratory, radiography, dentistry, Catheter placement, venipuncture, and sample collection.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work and radiographs. Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgeries. Catheter placement, Venipuncture and cystocentesis experience Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventative care. Maintain accurate medical records and patient files. Ensure cleanliness and organization in the clinic. Provide compassionate care and support to pets and their owners.

Requirements:

Valid California RVT license required. Some experience in a veterinary setting preferred. Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Proficient in using veterinary software and technology. Compassionate and dedicated to animal care. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
