Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

  • Part-time Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician who wants your work to make a real impact?
Join a mission-driven nonprofit veterinary team dedicated to keeping pets and families together through affordable, high-quality care. We are seeking a skilled, compassionate RVT for our high-volume spay/neuter clinic serving underserved communities across Southeast Los Angeles.
Schedule:
Part-Time Tuesdays & Thursdays. Consistent weekly schedule with opportunity for additional shifts as available.
What You'll Do:
Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery. Induce/intubate surgical patients. Administer medications and vaccines. Prepare surgical packs and maintain sterile protocols. Assist the veterinarian during high-volume surgery days. Client communication and discharge instructions as needed. Support smooth daily clinic flow with a collaborative team. Controlled drug administration and logging.
What We're Looking For:
Current California RVT license required. Experience with surgery/anesthesia strongly preferred
  • Change to experience with surgery/anesthesia required.
Previous experience in a High-Quality/high-volume spay/Neuter setting is strongly preferred. Efficient, calm, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting. Compassion for clients from diverse economic backgrounds. Team player who values mission-based work. Bilingual a plus.
