Veterinary Technician

We are a family owned equine-only veterinary practice. Our practice performs minor surgeries, dentals, castrations, breeding and more. We are looking for a veterinary technician to add to our team. The ideal candidate would have horse-handling background, pharmaceutical and laboratory experience, and knowledge of radiography procedures. This position will be full-time Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and occasional nighttime and weekend duties. Working conditions at the practice can be physically and emotionally demanding. Team members need to be able to lift at least 50 lbs in order to carry our equipment. They need to be prepared to handle potentially dangerous chemicals, keep calm in any situation, and understand the procedures for dealing with parasites and infectious diseases.
