The Role:

Specialty Float RVT We are seeking a skilled and versatile RVT to join our foundational team in a "floating" capacity. In this dynamic role, you will provide critical technical support across multiple advanced services, ensuring seamless care and collaboration. This position is ideal for a technician who thrives on variety, loves to learn, and wants to practice exceptional medicine alongside board-certified experts.

Key Responsibilities:

Rotate and float between Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Anesthesia services based on hospital workflow. Monitor and manage anesthesia cases under the direct guidance of our board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist (DACVAA) for advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. Safely operate our brand-new, state-of-the-art GE CT machine to perform and process diagnostic scans. Assist our IM and Oncology specialists with complex casework, advanced diagnostic imaging, and specialty treatments. Maintain accurate medical records, calculate dosages, and deliver compassionate nursing care to patients.

Experience & Qualifications:

License:

Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required.

Experience:

1+ years in veterinary specialty medicine or advanced general practice preferred.

Technical Skills:

Broad and comprehensive RVT technical skills, including advanced venipuncture, nursing care, and multi-service adaptability. Prior CT operation experience is a plus, but we are fully willing to train you on our new GE equipment.
