Veterinary Facility Care Technician

Position Summary TruVet Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, clients, and staff. This role combines general housekeeping, sanitation, and light maintenance duties across all areas of the hospital. Key Responsibilities Clean and disinfect hospital areas including exam rooms, treatment areas, kennels, restrooms, and public spaces. Perform laundry duties, restock supplies, and manage waste, including biohazard disposal. Support infection control protocols and maintain PPE and chemical safety standards. Conduct light maintenance and upkeep of hospital facilities and outdoor areas. Monitor for any safety or cleanliness concerns and address them promptly. Assist with urgent clean-ups and ensure all areas remain odor-free, organized, and presentable. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior custodial, janitorial, or environmental services experience required . Veterinary or medical facility experience is a plus. Comfortable working around animals of all sizes. Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
