Work Schedule Clinic hours:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM We are closed to the public on weekends , but staff rotate treatment shifts for hospitalized patients.

Typical shifts vary:

Weekdays:

7:25AM-4:25PM, 8AM-5PM, or 8:30AM-5:30PM Rotating weekend/holiday treatment duties (typically half-days)

Note:

Weekend work is not with the public but may involve patient care. Your Role as an RVT As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll work alongside our doctors to provide outstanding medical care and client support. We utilize our RVTs to their full licensure potential .

Core Responsibilities:

Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, administer

IM/SQ/IV

meds Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical prep, induction, and recovery Perform dental prophylaxis, including radiographs and extractions Take diagnostic radiographs and assist with lab work (fecals, urinalysis, bloodwork) Maintain detailed patient records and charts Support with client education, discharge instructions, and post-op care Suture skin and subcutaneous tissues (under DVM supervision)

Who You Are Minimum Requirements:

Licensed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of California 1+ years of clinical experience preferred Skilled in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and dental procedures Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Passionate about animal care, and calm under pressure
