Experienced Veterinary Technician

We are a busy, family-owned small animal clinic looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit team. As a Veterinary Technician at Ponderosa, you'll play a vital role in patient care and client support. From assisting in exams and procedures to providing comfort to pets and reassurance to their owners, your work truly makes a difference every single day.

What You'll Do:

Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia and support patient recovery Perform lab work, radiographs, and basic diagnostics Educate clients on pet care, medications, and treatment plans Help create a calm, supportive environment for both pets and their people

What We're Looking For:

A compassionate, team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a kind, empathetic approach with clients A genuine passion for animal care and patient advocacy Experience as a veterinary technician is preferred, but we value attitude and heart just as much as skill
