Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Healthy Pets Animal Hospital is looking for a registered and experienced veterinary technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is efficient, motivated, approachable, positive, a quick learner, and prioritizes patient care. Our goal is to practice the highest standards of care for every patient. We have digital x-ray, dental x-ray, full in-house lab equipment, and computerized medical records. We are fast paced practice that emphasizes a team oriented atmosphere to give our patients the very best care.

Job Responsibilities:

Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, educate clients, and maximize productivity and flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures, monitor anesthesia, perform dental prophies, digital radiographs Provide clear client communication regarding Dr. recommendations, medications, treatments, discharge instructions Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive health history from clients with the support of Avimark software Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Requirements:
