Veterinary Technician - Established Small Animal Practice Branford, CT Full-Time Schedule | Monday-Friday Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and compassionate team. We're a community-focused practice dedicated to providing quality veterinary care while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace for our staff. In This Role, You'll:
Assist veterinarians with appointments, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia and support patients during recovery Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and imaging assistance Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records and support daily hospital workflow Ideal Candidate Qualifications CVT preferred, though experienced veterinary technicians are encouraged to apply Minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience preferred Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and patient handling Strong multitasking and communication skills Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork Commitment to compassionate patient and client care Schedule Details This is a full-time weekday position with a Monday through Friday schedule, offering consistency and work-life balance with no regular weekend shifts.
