Who We Are Looking For The right candidate is someone who: Takes personal responsibility for their work and follows through on commitments Maintains a positive and professional attitude, even during stressful situations Is free from workplace drama, gossip, and negativity Treats clients, patients, and coworkers with respect Places the needs of the patient above personal convenience Understands that exceptional client service is a critical part of veterinary medicine Works collaboratively and helps create a supportive team environment Is coachable and committed to continued growth and learning Understands that culture is everyone's responsibility Required Qualifications Current Veterinary Technician certification Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary technician experience Strong anesthesia monitoring experience Strong surgical nursing experience Experience performing venipuncture and IV catheter placement Experience in obtaining and processing laboratory samples Experience with dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Experience with patient restraint and low-stress handling techniques Experience administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by a veterinarian Ability to perform accurate medical record documentation Strong client communication and education skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Preferred Qualifications While not required, preference will be given to candidates who possess: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Biology, Veterinary Technology, or a related field Fear Free Certification Advanced anesthesia or dentistry training Emergency or critical care experience Leadership or mentoring experience Specialty certification or advanced continuing education What Success Looks Like at Embrace Success at Embrace is not measured solely by technical ability.
