Experienced Veterinary Technician

Spring Run Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician who is willing to work full days and NO weekends! A successful candidate will have an aptitude for working with technology and a committed and compassionate attitude towards patient care and customer service. Salary range is proportionate to level of experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide intuitive patient care and restraint to ensure the safety of the patient, staff and veterinarian. Use of practice management software to ensure accurate data collection of the clinical exam and procedures. Have an understanding of veterinary needs to advise clients when an Emergency vet visit is recommended. Communicate with Veterinarians and Client Care staff to ensure a smooth patient flow. Good client communication skills to address client's concerns and help educate throughout the visit. The ideal candidate is flexible and adept at working in a fast-paced environment with a friendly and positive attitude. Quality and consistent patient care are of utmost importance. Qualifications Certified Veterinary Technician with relevant certification a PLUS Strong veterinary experience and knowledge of veterinary terminology Proficient in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization Understanding of animal physiology and anatomy Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members Experience in surgery/ anesthetics and veterinary critical care is a PLUS Familiarity with pet grooming and dog training techniques Experience with AI scribe software a

PLUS Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
