Job Description

We are a small animal hospital in Clearwater that is newly renovated and growing. We are looking for an experienced or certified technician that will fit in with our team. Our hospital is well established, with great clients, and has new ownership. We have 2 doctors that practice progressive medicine and an amazing team that works well together. We are a fun group that supports each other and has a good time. Services include in house lab machines, digital radiology, cold laser therapy, board certified surgeon and mobile ultrasonography. We are looking for a friendly individual with a positive attitude that has great customer service skills. Experience is preferred. We promote a Fear Free environment and offer Fear Free certification for our staff. We want our patients to love coming to the vet. We treat dogs, cats, and some exotics.
Responsibilities:
Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms and documenting in patient medical record Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement Obtain laboratory sample collection, process and interpret results Perform diagnostic imaging Perform anesthesia Operation and maintaining lab machines Nursing care of hospitalized patients Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable) Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients Communicate with and educate clients Experience with AviMark software a plus Experience is required for this position. Pay based on experience and certification.

From $22.00 per hour
