Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to animals and supporting veterinarians in various clinical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animal physiology and be skilled in routine veterinary care. This position requires a commitment to the health and well-being of pets, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed Monitor animal patients pre- and post-operatively for signs of recovery or complications Maintain accurate medical records for each patient Educate pet owners on proper pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical procedures to prevent infection Handle animal catheterization and other critical care tasks when necessary Skills The successful candidate should possess the following skills: Proficient in dental terminology related to veterinary practices Strong knowledge of animal physiology and behavior Experience in pet care, including handling various species safely Familiarity with laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary medicine Ability to perform animal catheterization with precision Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners by providing exceptional veterinary care!
