Job Description
Must love cats! All Cats Hospital is seeking an experienced, mature full-time veterinary technician (preferably Certified) to complete our team. We are a full service feline only, AAHA accredited veterinary hospital with a focus on senior cat health and dentistry. We maintain cutting edge care by participating in FDA pharmaceutical studies that have benefited many of our patients and countless others over the years. Our professional and courteous staff seeks to provide the best possible medical, surgical and dental care for our highly-valued feline patients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and their pets with a friendly, compassionate and positive presence. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, a positive mindset, able to multi-task efficiently and have a love for cats. Good communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding veterinary care is required. We pride ourselves on having long-term employees and a very low turnover rate. Our hours are limited to Monday through Friday. We prefer the applicant to have a minimum of one years' experience in a veterinary hospital. Experience with AVIMark is desired but not required. Applicants should be skilled in the following areas: Obtaining and recording patient history Physical exams and assessment Venipuncture Catheter placement Laboratory procedures Pharmacy Radiology Inducing and monitoring anesthesia Dental prophylaxes Surgical preparation and assisting Patient recovery and nursing care We offer a competitive salary based on experience; benefits package includes PTO, medical, dental, vision and AFLAC as well as an employer matching retirement account.
