Job Description
Part Time Experienced Veterinary Technician Must be available every other Saturday. MUST be reliable. All applicants must be able to perform all of the typical duties expected of an experienced Veterinary Technician , such as: Proper restraint of animals Assisting doctor in exams & administering treatments and diagnostic testing Anesthetic induction and anesthesia monitoring IV placement and veinipuncture Running lab tests (cytologys, urinalysis, fecals) In-house and reference laboratory blood analysis Assisting in performing and developing xrays Assisting with daily cleaning duties & stocking of supplies Retrieving and accurately relaying patient histories Veterinary Technicians are expected to be client-education oriented and ready to satisfy the needs of the clients, and are integral in relaying important patient care information between the pet-owners and the Veterinarian.
