02/25/2026 Laurel Road Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for Veterinary Technicians who are excited to fully utilize their technical skills in both surgery and outpatient care while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets in a collaborative, supportive environment. In this role, you will: Assist with patient preparation, anesthesia support, and recovery during surgical and dental procedures Maintain accurate and detailed medical records to support high-quality patient care Support exam room workflow through outpatient care, patient handling, and appointment preparation Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients by checking in appointments, reviewing treatment plans, providing discharge instructions, and answering questions Anticipate the needs of doctors and teammates to help maintain an efficient schedule and smooth daily operations while upholding the highest standards of patient care This position is ideal for Veterinary Technicians who enjoy hands-on patient care, client interaction, and being a valued member of a team-oriented, fast-growing practice.
Schedule:
This is a flexible, full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Saturday. Full-time benefits and compensation :
Compensation:
$18-22 per hour, for each hour worked
Bonus:
$500 for candidates with 3+ years of consecutive, current veterinary experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability coverage Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Minimum qualifications and skill set: 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in: Radiology Phlebotomy and laboratory sample collection SC, IM, and IV injections Inpatient care and anesthesia monitoring/recovery Obtaining vitals and patient histories Client communication and education Animal restraint Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs Microscope evaluation. Our team takes pride in practicing modern medicine with the tools and technology needed to deliver excellent patient care, including Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental Radiographs, Ultrasound, Laser Therapy, and IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment to support efficient diagnostics and treatment. We are a growing practice and are excited to be welcoming new doctors this year, which has created an excellent opportunity for additional skilled and motivated veterinary technicians to join our team. As we continue to expand, we are also adding additional Saturday hours, allowing us to better serve our clients while creating more opportunities for technicians to fully utilize their skills in a dynamic clinical setting.
