Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians in diagnosing, treating, and caring for a diverse range of animals, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Your expertise will help create a positive experience for pet owners and their beloved companions while advancing your professional skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, and procedures using proper animal restraint and handling techniques Prepare animals for surgery, including animal catheterization, aseptic technique, and monitoring anesthesia during critical care procedures Perform assisting diagnostic imaging including X-ray procedures Maintain accurate medical records, update patient files, and document treatments thoroughly Provide pet care duties such as grooming, feeding, administering medications, and ensuring overall animal comfort and safety Support dental procedures by understanding dental terminology and assisting with cleaning and oral examinations Handeling dogs and catswith professionalism and compassion while ensuring proper animal husbandry practices Requirements Prior kennel experience or animal handling background preferred; familiarity with dog handling Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary critical care practice Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, animal restraint methods, and pet care standards Ability to perform animal catheterization and manage complex veterinary procedures confidently Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and educate pet owners about animal health needs Valid veterinary technician experience or relevant certification is highly valued; ongoing learning in veterinary terminology and animal physiology encouraged Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact the health and happiness of animals.
