Veterinary Technician

Paw Prints Veterinary Clinic is a small animal clinic dedicated to community animal health and shelter diversion. We provide lower cost wellness services and spay/neuter surgeries to pet owners who might not otherwise be able to get care for their dogs and cats. We are looking for a passionate team player to help us care for pets.

Responsibilities Client communication:

be able to take a medical history and explain diagnostic and treatment plans Animal handling: safely restrain dogs and cats for procedures

Technician:

draw up and administer vaccines, draw blood and give IV injections, run diagnostic tests, monitor anesthesia for surgery, know sterile surgical procedures, take X-rays, perform dental cleanings, fill and dispense medications accurately. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of veterinary technician skills and procedures Willingness to learn and grow Two years of veterinary technician experience required
