About Us:
Animal Cancer Care Clinic has seven locations in Florida. Its focus is exclusively on cancer and its full-service wellness center in Fort Lauderdale offers comprehensive care that includes medical oncology, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, surgical oncology, and clinical trials.
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a full time, experienced, specialty veterinary surgical technician in our Orlando location to support our surgeon who performs mostly oncologic surgery. An exceptional opportunity exists for a technician who has experience with but not limited to: Key Responsibilities for a
Veterinary Surgical Technician :
Anesthesia protocols Placing IV catheters Instrument identification and care Post-operative care Patient anesthetic monitoring equipment Client education Drug calculations Qualifications for a
Veterinary Surgical Technician:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 2 years of previous veterinary surgical experience is required. Experience with anesthesia protocols, IV catheters, blood drawing, and patient monitoring is highly desired. Strong communication skills and comfort in speaking with clients.
