Certified Veterinary Technician

Bayview Animal Hospital - St. Pete, FL CVT or Equivalent Full-Time | Companion Animal General Practice Bayview Animal Hospital is a privately owned general practice hospital located in St. Petersburg, FL. We are a growing, team-oriented practice focused on high-quality medicine, strong patient advocacy, and creating a supportive environment for both our clients and staff. We are currently looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician (CVT or equivalent experience) to join our team. Our ideal candidate is confident, dependable, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative environment. We are looking for someone who values patient care, communicates well with both clients and coworkers, and can help support a fast-paced general practice setting while maintaining a positive attitude. Responsibilities Assist doctors with appointments, treatments, and procedures Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, laboratory sample collection, and patient monitoring Induce and monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures Provide nursing care and patient advocacy for hospitalized pets Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventative care, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes Help support daily hospital workflow and maintain cleanliness/organization throughout the hospital Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, assistants, and client service representatives Qualifications

CVT/LVT/RVT
