If you're a compassionate, skilled Veterinary Technician who's passionate about pet dental health, preventative care, and client education—we'd love for you to join our team!
Position Summary:
Non-Anesthetic Dental Veterinary Technician & Receptionist This is a dual-role position where you'll perform hands-on dental care and serve as a friendly, informative point of contact for pet parents.
Dental Technician Responsibilities:
Perform anesthesia-free dental cleanings including subgingival scaling Remove tartar and plaque using gentle-hold techniques Complete thorough dental assessments with accurate charting Educate clients on dental hygiene and at-home care Conduct dental consults and post-care instruction with empathy and clarity
Reception & Client Support:
Greet clients and pets warmly, creating a welcoming and professional first impression Manage scheduling, client records, and communication via text Clearly explain services, answer questions, and guide clients through their pet's dental appointment Handle front desk operations and software with accuracy and efficiency Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and follow-up care coordination Maintain a clean, organized, and friendly environment
What We're Looking For:
Passion for animals and pet wellness Strong pet dental experience for both dogs and cats Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, supportive team environment Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong communication skills Comfort working with different breeds and temperaments
Qualifications:
Veterinary Technician experience required CVT Certification preferred Experience in pet dentistry (non-anesthesia preferred) Previous pet industry or veterinary office experience a plus Availability Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM (Paid lunch break) One Saturday per month required
