Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to animals. Your expertise in animal anatomy, handling, and veterinary terminology will be crucial in assisting with examinations, treatments, and surgeries. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your passion for animal care can shine. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Provide education to pet owners about animal care and wellness. Handle and restrain animals safely during procedures. Assist with dental cleanings and other dental procedures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. Participate in kennel duties including cleaning and maintaining animal living areas. Requirements Knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology is essential. Experience with animal handling and restraint techniques. Familiarity with equine care is a plus. Skills in dog training or pet grooming are advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
