Will train new or recent graduate of an accredited veterinary technician program. Our team does multi-task so candidate must have the ability to assess situations and work independently, and be a critical thinker. Candidate must have a desire to learn, and have a attentiveness to detail. Customer service is an absolute must for our practice. Due to the technical nature of this job, candidates must have graduated from an accredited program. We will consider an applicant who is graduating spring 2026. We will also consider an applicant who has at least 6 months experience working as an assistant in a veterinary clinic--the applicant must have consistently performed successfully at least half of these tasks. Technician duties (list not fully inclusive): Blood draws and urine collection Administer SQ fluids Nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression Surgical preparation and monitoring Perform in-house laboratory tests (CBC, chemistries, UA, TT4, cPL, Snap tests, cytology) Take client histories, and participate in client education Assist in radiography Understand low-stress handling We have Fear-Free certified staff. to help you understand how best to work with patients. Our training program is stepped to enhance success! You have skills--ready to use them? We are not open on Wednesdays, so you will always have that day off.
