Job Description

Hayden Pet Medical Center is growing—and we're excited to be welcoming two new doctors to our team! We're currently seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our expanding hospital. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working at the top of their license, especially in surgery and anesthesia. In this role, you will: Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep/recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs Support an efficient workflow by anticipating the needs of the team and patients Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions If you're detail-oriented, passionate about anesthesia, and looking to grow with a supportive and evolving team, we'd love to connect! This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Full-time benefits and compensation•:
Compensation:
$22-26 per hour, for each hour worked• Bonus package: $2000 CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Uniform allowance Minimum qualifications and skill set: 2+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Idaho Exotic Animal Experience is a plus Proficiency in the following skills: Surgical setup and assisting Phlebotomy Inpatient care Hayden Pet Medical Center is a fast-paced, AAHA-accredited hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals and exotics.
