Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) with proven leadership experience to join our team at Sawtooth Veterinary Services. This role is ideal for a technician who is passionate about patient care while also supporting team development, workflow efficiency, and day-to-day operations within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and treatment administration Support daily workflow by assisting with task delegation and ensuring efficient patient flow Train and mentor veterinary assistants/technicians and new team members Assist in onboarding and skill development of medical staff Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols Communicate effectively with veterinarians, team members, and clients Help foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment

Requirements:
Active Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a veterinary setting (including training, task assignment, or shift leadership) Strong technical skills in anesthesia, dentistry, and patient care Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to lead by example and support a team-oriented culture Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
