Surgery Veterinary Technician at
VCA Aurora Animal Hospital Compensation:
$ 25
  • 28/hr, and the pay range is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities , and other relevant credentials.
About Our Hospital At VCA Aurora Animal Hospital, you'll be part of anemergency, specialty, and primary care hospital delivering advanced, team-based medicine. Our Surgery service is supported by three board-certified surgeons, a surgical resident, and a dedicated anesthesiologist, allowing for a wide range of complex and advanced procedures. As a teaching-focused hospital, we prioritize mentorship, collaboration, and high standards of care—creating an environment where technicians can continue to grow and refine their skills. The Role As a Surgery Veterinary Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting advanced surgical procedures from preparation through recovery. You'll work closely with our surgeons and anesthesia team to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Schedule:
Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10-hour weekday shifts. Upon complete training with the Surgery Service (commonly three to five months), associates will train to perform on-call surgery duties. Bonuses apply!
