In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support to veterinarians and ensure the highest standards of animal health and welfare. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive environment for our furry, feathered, and scaled patients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your veterinary skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their owners. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures by preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment using aseptic techniques. Handle animals with care and confidence, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff. Perform laboratory tests, prepare samples, and operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines to aid in accurate diagnosis. Maintain detailed records of animal treatments, vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results with precision. Manage animal catheterization, IV placement, and other critical care procedures under veterinarian supervision. Requirements Hands-on experience with laboratory testing, X-ray operation, surgery Ability to handle animals confidently using restraint techniques while ensuring their comfort. IV catheterization, intubation, in-house laboratory machines, assisting doctor in surgery
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
