Job Description
```Duties```
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments to animals as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Complete X-rays of animals( including Dental)
- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
- Provide post-operative care to animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment ```Qualifications```
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience preferred if not certified.
- Veterinary Technician certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary critical care and animal physiology
- Proficient in aseptic technique and animal catheterization
- Excellent customer service skills and communication
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and medical records management
