•Pay to be discussed at time of hiring•Responsibilities Provide compassionate care for animals. Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries, including animal restraint. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, surgery, and examination rooms. Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to the veterinary team. Ensure compliance with veterinary terminology and protocols in all tasks. Collect blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory testing. Prepare animals and instruments for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and provide post-operative care. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Provide general nursing care to hospitalized animals, including feeding, medicating, and administering fluids.
