Our Kennel Technicians and Receptionists are integral to our mission: providing the highest quality of veterinary medical care and compassion to our patients, while delivering up-to-date exotic pet care education to our clientele. Kennel Technician A key role of our Kennel Technicians is assisting our veterinarians, caring for patients, maintaining clean facilities, and communicating effectively with our support staff and clients regarding the well-being of the pets under our care.
Please Note:
This position is currently for limited hours , with the potential for increased hours down the line as business needs evolve. This is a permanent role, not a summer position.
Kennel Responsibilities:
Providing appropriate food and water to animals under your care. Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, cages, and hospital facilities. Maintaining accurate medical records. Mopping, sweeping, and disposing of clinic trash. Washing dishes and handling facility laundry. Cleaning clinic restrooms. Sorting and shredding paper for animal enclosure bedding. Observing animal health conditions and promptly communicating updates to the veterinarian and support staff. Interacting professionally with clients during boarding drop-offs and pick-ups.
Requirements & Schedule:
Experience:
One or more years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of exotic animals is a major plus, but not required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Must be a team player who works well with staff and the public. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks in accordance with hospital procedures, and follow instructions effectively.
Availability:
This position requires working weekdays, some weekends, and occasional holidays/overtime.
Shift Note :
Staff arrive earlier than opening hours to complete morning duties and do not leave exactly at closing time. Depending on the day's cases, you should expect to stay an hour or more past closing. While we are closed on Sundays, staff are required to come in for morning shifts to care for hospitalized animals. Receptionist (Part-Time) We are seeking a Part-Time Receptionist who is a fast learner, polite, outgoing, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. This is a permanent role, not a summer position.

This is a Part Time position.
Schedule:
Requires working approximately two Saturday shifts per month, as well as providing coverage for other receptionists during vacations or scheduled PTO.
Shift Note :
Staff arrive earlier than opening hours to complete morning duties and do not leave exactly at closing. Depending on the daily flow, you should expect to stay an hour or more after closing.
Qualifications:
Must work well with the public and be a collaborative team member. Knowledge of veterinary medicine and AviMark software is a major plus, but not required. Clinic Hours of Operation Monday•
