Job Description

Veterinary Surgery Technician Feeding Hills Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing surgical team. This position is ideal for a technician who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys advanced patient care, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to both patients and clients. As a Surgical Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our veterinarians during surgical procedures while helping provide high-quality patient care from induction through recovery. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, team-focused, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and compassionate hospital environment. What You'll Do Prepare and assist with surgical procedures Perform surgical prep, catheterization, induction, intubation, extubation, and patient recovery Monitor anesthesia and recognize changes in patient condition Communicate effectively with doctors and surgical team members Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and packs Assist with CPCR and emergency procedures as needed Operate and maintain surgical and hospital equipment Perform appropriate bandaging techniques Support overall hospital workflow and patient care needs What We're Looking For
CVT/RVT/LVT
preferred Minimum of 4 years of veterinary technician experience Strong anesthesia and surgical nursing knowledge Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, professional, and client-service oriented attitude Commitment to continued learning and high-quality patient care Qualifications Associate degree in Veterinary Technology preferred Current veterinary technician license in good standing preferred Completion of 12 CE hours annually Comfortable working in a physically active environment Why Join Western MA Veterinary Group?
