Job Overview Join our small veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist / Technician, where your enthusiasm and expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. You will be the friendly face greeting clients, managing medical records, and assisting with clinical procedures to ensure seamless veterinary operations. Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring proper billing and payment processing Support veterinary critical care procedures by preparing equipment, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting during treatments Perform laboratory tests and record results meticulously to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning Handle animal restraint safely during examinations or procedures, including dog handling and other species-specific techniques Conduct pet care activities such as pet grooming, dog training support, and ensuring animals are comfortable and well-cared-for during their visit Maintain accurate veterinary terminology records and update patient files consistently Support laboratory work by collecting samples, preparing specimens, and ensuring proper sample storage Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal hospitals is highly preferred; veterinary experience is a strong plus Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal restraint techniques, and aseptic procedures Experience with medical collection processes and laboratory work within a veterinary setting Kennel experience or background in animal husbandry enhances your ability to care for Skills in dog handling, pet grooming, pet care, and animal training demonstrate your versatility in animal care tasks Strong understanding of animal anatomy and behavior to ensure safe handling and effective treatment Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional pet healthcare while fostering a supportive environment for professional growth.
